It is safe to say that Circles have traditionally been a part of every culture on earth. Talking circles, peace and healing circles, peacemaking circles all assume a universal human wish to be connected to others, they are built on a foundation of shared values. An important teaching underlying the Circle process is that everything in the universe is connected; thus every action affects everything else in the universe.
